Super King Size Fitted Sheets

A super king mattress is 203cm x 203cm: perfectly square, which makes it the easiest bed in the world to put a sheet on sideways. That’s where the labelled corners earn their keep. Match top left to top left and you’re done, first time. Super king mattresses also tend to be the deepest, which is why ours get a 55cm wall instead of the standard 50cm, with thick elastic running the full perimeter so the sheet grips evenly across all that width.

Two people (plus the odd kid or dog) under one doona generates a lot of heat, so fabric matters. Our 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton percale is a breathable, matte weave that lets air move rather than trapping warmth like microfibre or polyester blends. It’s made with long-staple fibres that stand up to regular washing.

To finish the bed, add a super king flat sheet (280cm x 290cm) and king pillowcases, which fit the longer pillows on big beds. For the doona, the super king is our largest size, so there’s no sizing up here: a super king doona and super king quilt cover it is. Every measurement is in our bed linen size guide.
